2019                   Delivered the following 4 oral presentations with university colleagues and social workers at the 2019 Asia Pacific Career Development Association conference, entitled Navigating Career Development in the Age of Industry 4.0 at RMIT University, Vietnam (May 21-25, 2019). Two are 40-minute session (the top, longest session): (i) The ‘Expanded Notion of Work’ for navigating career development services for NEET youth in Hong Kong; & (ii) Adaptation of the Career Construction Counseling Approach for NEET Youth in Hong Kong. The other two are 20-minute session: (i) ‘Youth theatre’ as a career development intervention practice for NEETs in Hong Kong; & (ii) Supporting Underprivileged Girls with SEN in Career Transitions by Digital Drawing.

2018a          Invited to join a symposium with book chapter authors of the edited book Career guidance for emancipation: Reclaiming justice for the multitude to discuss the role of career guidance in a rapidly changing world. The symposium titled “Career Guidance for Social Justice: Contesting Neoliberalism”, which was held at the 2018 International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance (IAEVG) conference at Gothenburg, Sweden, October 2018.

2018b             Oral presentation titled “Enabling Environment and Career Development for Disadvantaged Youth: A glimpse into the local-level practice and research in Hong Kong” was delivered at the 2018 International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance (IAVEG) Conference, in Sweden (2-4 October, 2018).

Award received (Recent)
In 2018, Toby got the project scholarship of “Critics in Action: Self-exploring Scheme for the Theatre Critics" award of the International Association of Theatre Critics (Hong Kong Branch) and achieved his dream of becoming an amateur Cantonese Opera critic.
2018年獲國際演藝評論家協會(香港分會)的「動行者:藝評人自我探索計劃」獎助金,達成粵劇評論新鮮人的夢想。(簡介: 葉智仁是粵劇評論新鮮人。業餘堅趣之一是研究和教學之餘, 間中撰寫舞評、劇評。他的「〈粵劇新戲吾曉睇〉自學之旅」以「多看多聽多讀多討論」的形式,培育對粵劇欣賞、評論及演藝生態發展的反思能力。在計劃進行的八個月裡,負責指導的資深粵劇/戲曲評論人先後有張敏慧老師及塵纾老師,而走訪過的專家學者包括毛俊輝導演、陳守仁教授及李小良教授。)
