Seminar: “e Sports: A GAME or A SPORT?”
 

We would like to invite you to participate in the Seminar on “e Sports: A GAME or A SPORT?” The issues related to e Sports are multifaceted – from flourishing as a multi-billion dollar business venture to becoming an Olympic sport; from viewing it as a means to engage our younger generation to voicing concerns about health and psychological ramifications.

The objective of the seminar is to explore the roles and impact of e Sports from different perspectives: recreation and sports, social service and counselling, education and health. We hope that the discussions generated from this seminar will give professionals, service providers, policy-makers and the business sector a better and more thorough understanding of e sports and that further development of e sports will take into consideration of the stakes involved.
