2160 PPE Agency Visit I: Elderly-DECC
Over 30 Year 1 students visited St. James Settlement Wan Chai District Elderly Community Centre on 4 July 2022, Monday afternoon. How to have a conversation with an elderly person is the key learning element of this visit, along with the general purpose of knowing the facilities and daily operation of elderly service. With a little preparation offered by the centre staff, most students can have good chats with an elderly person by finding pleasant or attractive things to talk about and being sensitive to any communication issues they may encountered.
