The Department organized a seminar entitled “Recovery Road of People in Trauma in Post-Pandemic Period” on 12th April 2023. We gathered more than 100 participants to discuss the strategies in supporting people going through the recovery road of trauma. We invited distinguished speakers to share their experiences in service development, practice and research. They were Mr. Stephen WONG (Assistant Director, The Mental Health Association of Hong Kong), Mr. Tyson POON (Social Worker, The Mental Health Association of Hong Kong), Ms. Scarlet POON (Service Head, Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service), Ms. Naner FONG (Counselling Psychologist, Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service), Dr Sammy Cheng (Clinical Psychologist) and Dr Wallace Tsang (Senior Lecturer, Hong Kong Shue Yan University).
