Career Talk cum Mock Interview and Lunch Gathering for Year 4 Students (May 3, 2024)

 

The Department of Social Work organized a career talk and mock interviews for the final year students on May 13th. The primary objective of the event was to provide the students with valuable insights and guidance on employment opportunities. Representatives from the Social Welfare Department, various non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and alumni were invited to share their experiences and expertise with the attendees.
 
The event encompassed a wide range of topics, including discussions on job prospects within the social work field, as well as the essential skills and qualifications that employers seek. In addition, a significant focus was placed on interview preparation and techniques during the mock interviews. Students received valuable tips on effectively presenting themselves, handling common interview questions, and showcasing their strengths and experiences.
