2560 PPE: SW180 Team Building Activities (4 October, 2025)
 

A series of adventure-based team building activities tailored specifically for social work year 1 students for self-understanding and enhancing group cohesion were conducted at our indoor basketball court in the HKSYU Main Building on Oct 4, 2025.

This year, our year 1 students were divided into 2 groups, each experiencing a half-day adventure activity. It was composed of funny warm up games, partner pair-up games, six bricks games, trust activities etc.  And an experiential learning students received was the subsequent debriefing session held at the end of the activity.

Taken as a whole, the team building activity provided great opportunities for our year 1 undergraduates to learn more about themselves and each other’s strengths, how to work co-operatively, develop their confidence in solving problems, and build group rapport after the activities.
