Macau Exchange Tour (31 May to 1 June, 2019)
 

In the recent years, social welfare development in Macau has been rapidly expanding in order to echo a wide range of service demand. To
facilitate students’ comprehension in Macau’s social system as well as to broaden their horizon, Ms. Cherry Lau, Lecturer cum Fieldwork
Coordinator and Ms. Kam Ming, Assistant Fieldwork Coordinator accompanied 18 students from Year.1 to Year.3 to visit various kinds of
social welfare organizations in Macau from 31st May to 1st June, 2019.

During the 2-day exchange tour, we had visited several prominent organizations and agencies, including Macau Social Welfare Bureau,
Poutai Social Service Complex, Macao Catholic Family Advisory Council, Gaming Employees Home, TDM – Television in Macau and
University of Saint Joseph. Surely, all participants enjoyed the wonderful time being together with the students, who are also
studying social work in University of Saint Joseph and Macau Polytechnic.
