Professor Yip Kam Shing is an internationally renowned scholar in mental health practice, clinical social work, and Chinese culture in clinical practice. A retired professor from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he current serves as Adjunct Professor at St. Francis University and Christian Gratia College. He has published over 80 highly cited articles and 40 books, recognized by Scopus as a top 2% most cited scientist worldwide and awarded for lifetime scholastic contribution. With over 4,000 clinical cases and extensive coolaboration with agencies across Hong Kong, China, Macau, and overseas, he has secured over HK$100 million in funding for innovate practice and research.
Professor Yip's distinguished academic record, international recognition, and extensive clinical experience make him an exceptional candidate for Adjunct Professor in the Social Work Department. His pioneering action research and innovative practice models have shapped shaped mental health and social work regionally and globaly.
