Dr. Monica Wong is a registered clinical psychologist, art therapist, and trauma specialist, internationally recognized for founding the Narrative Drawing Intervention® model. She hold a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and multiple advanced qualifications, with academic appointments including professor of Psychology. She has led expressive arts therapy conferences worldwide, trained professionals across Asia, and delivered humanitarian psychological support in disaster and trauma contexts. Her leadership includes founding major psychological support programmes and global art therapy initiatives. She is a prolific trainer, author, and conference organizer, with extensive impact in clinical practice, teaching, and research.

Dr. Wong's pioneering contributions to trauma recovery and express arts therapy, combined with her academic leadership and humanitarian service, make her an outstanding candidate for Adjunct Professor in the Social Work Department. Her innovative Narrative Drawing Intervention® model is widely adopted across Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China, bridging clinical practice and social education. With extensive international teaching, conference leadership, and community engagement, she brings both scholarly excellence and practice expertise.
